My name is Sarah. I live in San Diego, am a single mom of a two and five-year-old. They are my world. Creative and no recipe cooking has always been a passion of mine since I can remember. Cooking is one of the ways I express love. I was a dancer since I could walk all the way through college, I also modeled and so awareness of the body and health was something I was exposed to quite young. Later I worked in the health, beauty, fashion, entertainment and event planning industries. Healthy eating has always been important to me and throughout the years I have experimented with how to make healthy food fun and interesting. In 2011 my boyfriend who later became my husband found out he had celiac disease and needed to be gluten-free. I immediately took it upon myself to become an expert in gluten-free cooking. Now that we are not together I often but don’t always cook GF as the kids and I don’t require it. I live for entertaining family and friends and have always wanted my home to be filled with yummy smells, great music, good vibes and joy. I have a pension for making cheese plates and love cooking Mediterranean food. When my children were babies I made their food from scratch and it has always been a commitment of mine to teach them how to eat healthy and balanced. Over the years I’ve learned some fun tricks to make healthy eating fun for kids and I will share that with you. I hope you will hang out here with me, follow along and share. For me cooking is a creative outlet, art, a truly joyful experience when shared with others. There’s often music and dancing involved! My secret ingredient is always love (just ask my daughter). ❤️
